2008 Concert Season (Our 29th season)
The 2008 MSB Concert Schedule is being finalized and additional concert dates will be added. Admission to all concerts is Free, unless an amount is noted below (except for Lake George, NY, all concerts are in Connecticut)
- Upcoming 2008 Concerts
- June 25th - Wednesday, 7:00 PM -Summer Concert Series, Pierson Park, Cromwell. The park is located in the Center of Cromwell off West Street (RT 372) near the
intersection with Main Street (Rt 99). Rain location is Cromwell Town Hall.
- July 1st - Tuesday, 7:00 PM -Summer Sounds, Mystic River Park, Cottrell Street, Mystic (Rain date: August 12th)
- July 3rd - Thursday, Time 8:15 PM -Annual Fireworks, City Hall Lawn, Middletown (Tentative rain date: July 5th)
- July 19th - Saturday -Community Band Festival, Lake George, New York
- August 24th - Sunday, 9:30 - 11:30 AM -Open Air Market & Festival, The Wadsworth Mansion at Longhill Estate, Middletown (Rain date: tba)
- September 2nd - Tuesday, 7:00 PM -Summer Sounds, South Green, Middletown (Rain location South Church)
- December 5th - Friday, 7:00 PM -Winter Holiday Concert, Westbrook High School, 156 McVeagh Rd., Westbrook (Snow date: December 12th)

- Concerts already performed during 2008
- March 15th - Saturday, 7:00 PM -Concert at Crowell Concert Hall, Wesleyan University, Middletown -- Spring Arts Awakening - This event is a fund raiser by the Middletown Foundation for the Arts: General Admission $35, Students $15.
The Middletown Foundation for the Arts, in cooperation with the local arts groups it funds, presents an evening of celebration of local arts talent. The evening will provide attendees with a collection of performances, ranging from a full orchestra to musical theater. Visual arts will also be on display. The performances will be followed by a reception.
- Concerts performed during 2007
- April 1st - Sunday, 3:00 PM -Annual Spring Concert, South Congregational Church, 9 Pleasant Street, Middletown. MSB begins its 28th concert season with 'A Springtime Debut'. The concert featured brand new music from the MSB library and marked the debut of Marco Gaylord as the Music Director and Conductor.
